At AP Aras Baru, environmental sustainability is a commitment as a leading provider of workforce solutions. The responsibility of a company goes beyond delivering services; it extends to the impact on its stakeholders and ecosystem. Aras Baru has been working towards a carbon-free future, guided by long-term environmental goals and practical, ongoing actions.
Our journey begins with environmentally responsible practices integrated in our core services, such as hostel management and employee transportation. From embracing waste reduction strategies in our hostels to implementing solar energy with solar panels built onto the dormitory buildings, we are reshaping how we manage worker accommodations in line with green standards. In transportation, we have recalibrated our logistics and driver schedules to shorten routes, cut idle times, and significantly reduce emissions associated with our vehicle fleet.
Furthermore, AP Aras Baru is preparing for a major step forward in its sustainability vision — the future adoption of electric vehicle (EV) models, including electric buses, to further minimise our carbon footprint. Additionally, the current existing fleet will be transitioning to use an alternative fuel called ‘biodiesel’, a fuel that can be used in place of or as a blend with conventional petroleum-based diesel. These clean energy alternatives are part of a broader initiative to modernise our fleet while aligning with national and global environmental goals.

“Sustainability isn’t just a project for companies to do for the sake of doing it. It’s part of how we work and should be practised as a standard.”
With each milestone, from green transport solutions to low-impact hostel management, AP Aras Baru remains steadfast in our ESG commitments — Environmental, Social, and Governance. Our sustainability roadmap is not just about innovation and compliance; it is about taking real steps to build a truly carbon-free future for all.
